The Baja 1000 is the most famous off-road race in the world, and this year it runs right through our backyard. Skip the crowded roadside and watch it the Baja way: from a Polaris RZR, with a local guide who knows the course, the timing, and the best places to see the race go by.
Full-Day Baja 1000 Spectator Tour

7:00 AM to about 5:00 PM · Guided
Catch the Baja 1000 near the start of the race, when the field is at full strength. Your local guide leads the way from Todos Santos to a viewing spot near the historic mining town of El Triunfo, timed so you arrive before the racers come through. After the race, the fun is yours: a scenic off-road route home through the mountains to Todos Santos. The trip out is a direct route with some highway driving to keep us on schedule. You can stop for lunch in El Triunfo if timing allows (lunch is not included). This is the one for die-hard race fans who want a full day of Baja 1000 action plus some off-roading of their own.
4-Hour Baja 1000 Spectator Tour

On Saturday the racecourse passes close to Todos Santos, and racers come through all day long. That means you reach the action fast and still have plenty of time to watch. Your local guide knows the course and takes you to the best viewing spots near town, so you can feel the dust, hear the engines, and see the race up close as the trucks, buggies, and bikes fly by. Choose a morning or afternoon tour to fit your weekend plans. It’s a great fit for families, groups, and anyone who wants to see the Baja 1000 up close without giving up the whole day. Bring your camera: short on time, big on race-day thrills.

Puerto Viejo Cliffside Ocean Ride
Length: 2 Hours
Where the mountains meet the desert and the desert meets the sea. This two-hour, self-guided ride takes you across cactus-lined desert trails to the dramatic Puerto Viejo cliffs on Baja’s Pacific coast. Listen to the waves and the local sea lion colony, explore historic shrimping sites, and watch local fishermen work the coves. From December to April, keep an eye out for whales. Your route is preloaded in RIDE COMMAND GPS, so you can stop for photos whenever you like.
El Coyote Desert Expedition
Length: 4 Hours
Our most famous and most popular ride. Follow the legendary El Coyote trail, part of old Baja 1000 race history, across the open desert to the foot of the Sierra de la Laguna. Wind through canyons and giant cardón cactus, climb into the mountains for big views, and explore historic ruins along the way. Then head out to the Puerto Viejo lookout for sweeping Pacific Ocean cliff views. Your route is preloaded in RIDE COMMAND GPS, so you can explore at your own pace.
EL TRIUNFO HISTORIC BAJA EXPEDITION
Length: 8 Hours
Step back into Baja’s gold and silver rush. This full-day, self-guided expedition takes you through Todos Santos, an official Pueblo Mágico, and into the Sierra de la Laguna foothills to El Triunfo, an official Pueblo Histórico and once the largest town in Baja California Sur. Explore 1800s mine ruins, the La Ramona smokestack, and the town’s piano museum, then grab lunch in town. Your route is preloaded in RIDE COMMAND GPS, so you can explore at your own pace.
GUIDED SUNSET TOUR AT PUERTO VIEJO CLIFFS
Length: 3 Hours
End your day the Baja way. Your local guide leads you across the desert in the golden afternoon light to the Puerto Viejo cliffs, home to what we think is the best sunset view in Baja California Sur. Watch the sun sink into the Pacific as waves crash below and sea lions call from the rocks, then follow your guide home through the desert at twilight as dusk colors settle over the mountains and the first stars appear. Perfect for couples and families.
