Things to Do in Todos Santos
Downtown Todos Santos
Since 2006, Todos Santos has been one of Mexico’s Pueblos Mágicos, a designation for towns with special history and culture. Stroll cobblestone streets lined with art galleries, boutique shops, colonial buildings and cafés. It’s easy to spend an afternoon here before or after your ride.Cerritos Beach
About 15 minutes south of town, Cerritos is the area’s favorite surf beach. It’s great for beginner surf lessons, beachfront lunches and sunsets. It’s also one of the few local Pacific beaches with calmer water for swimming.Punta Lobos
Here local fishermen launch their pangas (small fishing boats) straight through the surf, a classic Baja scene. Come in the early afternoon to watch the boats return with the day’s catch, then hike the cliffs for big ocean views.Whale Watching from Shore
From about December through April, humpback whales migrate along the Todos Santos coast. You can often spot them breaching right from the beach, with no boat needed.
